Our Mission Is Simple: Life, Love, and Lasting Hope
The PRC opened its doors in 1983 with a small team and a big prayer: to offer a real alternative to abortion in Richmond. Over the years, we've grown from a grassroots effort into a thriving network of care—with trained advocates, multiple locations, and thousands of clients served annually.
To date, more than 40,000 women and families have received care, resources, and hope through the PRC—and our work is just getting started.
This is what hope looks like.
“I walked in feeling scared and alone. I walked out with hope. They treated me like I mattered.”
You can be part of this story.
Whether you’re called to give, pray, volunteer, or connect your church, your role matters. Together, we can continue the impact.

A Woman’s Journey Begins With One Brave Step
When a woman walks through our doors, she may be overwhelmed with fear, confusion, or pressure. She sits down with a trained advocate who listens with compassion — not judgment. She’s given space to speak freely, to ask hard questions, and to breathe.
Next, she receives a professional medical confirmation of pregnancy and a free ultrasound — where she may see her baby for the very first time. That moment can be life-changing.
From there, she’s invited into ongoing support: parenting classes, material assistance, and Gospel-centered counseling that meets her right where she is. Surrounded by truth and love, she begins to see a future filled with hope — and many choose life because of it.
Your generosity makes this journey possible.
